Order Size Below Minimum: The subscription attempted to open or close an order below the minimum size permitted by the exchange.
What does this error mean?
Subscribing to a bot initiates the opening and closing of orders on your behalf, based on trading signals and bot settings.
In general, orders have varying order size limits, which can change depending on the market, pairs, and exchange. Orders cannot be opened if the size is below the threshold.
What could be the potential reasons for this?
- The base order size of the subscription is lower than the minimum order size allowed for that pair on the exchange where you're trading.
- The price has experienced a significant drop since the last order was placed, leading the subscription to try to open new safety orders or close existing orders whose size is below the minimum size threshold.
How to fix this?
- Verify the minimum order sizes allowed for the pairs being traded on the exchange and adjust the base order size accordingly.
- If the position size is below the minimum allowed size and you are unable to close it, you can manually add funds to increase the total size and facilitate its closure. Similarly, if the subscription is attempting to open new safety orders below the minimum size, you can manually add funds to your position from Mizar.
IMPORTANT: The error notification will disappear only after the subscription attempts to open or close an order, even if you have already resolved the error.
