When connecting a new exchange, Mizar will test the connectivity and permissions granted to the exchange key to make sure that bots and trading tools will run smoothly.
Mizar will test trading permissions by creating and immediately canceling a limit order. Please note that this test will not result in any actual funds being spent, but a minimum balance of 15 USDT is required to execute the test.
Additionally, Mizar will test IP whitelisting by sending requests from all IPs associated with your API key. We will also verify that requests from restricted IPs are appropriately blocked.
If the exchange supports hedge mode, we will switch the futures position mode based on the "is_hedge_mode" parameter. This may involve switching to either One-way-mode or Hedge-mode, as required.
If all tests pass successfully, you'll be able to establish a connection with your exchange and begin using Mizar without any potential connectivity problems in the future. However, if any of the tests fail, your connection will not be established, and you'll be given guidance on how to troubleshoot and resolve any potential errors. Don't be discouraged if your initial attempts are unsuccessful, as persistence will eventually lead to a successful connection, and you'll be able to use Mizar without connecting to your exchange for a long time.
